Terms of Service

1. What Content Mapped is

Content Mapped (“we”, “the service”) reads your published WordPress content and reports on its structure and health: dead links, unreachable pages, topic coverage, schema problems, and similar. It is currently an early-access product: features change, invitations are limited, and upgrades are handled personally rather than through a checkout page.

2. Your account

You need an invitation to create an account, and you're responsible for keeping your password safe. One person per account — it's your workspace, isolated from everyone else's.

3. What you promise about the sites you add

When you add a site, you confirm that you own it, or are authorised to analyse it. That confirmation is recorded. Don't add sites that aren't yours to analyse — that's the one way to get an account closed without warning.

4. What we do — and don't do — to your site

The service reads your site the way a browser does, respecting your robots.txt. It never writes to your site, with one narrow, explicit exception: if you opt in and provide WordPress credentials, the Taxonomy screen can push category and tag changes you explicitly stage — never post content — and every pushed batch can be reverted with one click. That opt-in is off by default, per site.

5. AI features run on your own keys

AI-powered features (summaries, clustering, entity analysis) use API keys you bring — OpenRouter, OpenAI, or Google. The cost of those calls is yours, billed by those providers under their terms. We store your keys encrypted, use them only for your own sites' processing, and never show or export them.

6. Plans

The free plan includes the full site-health report for one site. Paid tiers add more sites and the AI layer. During early access there is no self-serve payment; if a plan changes or a paid feature is withdrawn, existing users get notice before anything is taken away.

7. Acceptable use

• Don't use the service to analyse sites you have no right to analyse.
• Don't attempt to access other users' data or probe the service's security.
• Don't resell or white-label the service without an agreement with us.

8. Availability and warranties

This is an early-access product run by a small team: we aim for reliability but don't promise uninterrupted service, and the service is provided as is. Reports are analysis to inform your judgement, not guarantees — a “healthy” report doesn't promise search rankings, and we're not liable for editorial decisions you take on the back of one. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before a claim (during free early access, that's zero).

9. Leaving

You can export all of your data and delete your account yourself, at any time, from the My Account page — a 7-day cooling-off period by default, or immediately if you choose. Deletion is real: see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is erased and the one anonymous statistic that remains. If payments exist when you delete, any subscription is cancelled as part of deletion.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, you'll see a notice in the app asking you to review and accept the new version — we don't change the deal silently.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to its courts.
